Update food blog  
SUCCESS!



Bed of raw courgette strips, tiny bit of tagliatelle and spinach with vine tomatoes, green beans, mozzerella strips and chicken with a garnish of pesto, pepper, lime and olive oil. Only thing wrong is the POOOOOOOORLY cooked chicken as it's overdone and dry, but otherwise - UNF!

I'd like to try it with raw green beans and no pasta next time, but I have found something that I think would compliment a different variety of meat and fish and was pretty cheap! AND it means that I could make this for Hal and he's love it if I added chilli!

I cannot cook. But, hey! Turns out I can do this raw thang after all.

none of that! you clearly CAN cook. :) Glad it worked out!

I just used the slow cooker for the first time. Best £13 I spent, John and I just came home to a fantastic stew. Just chucked all the ingredients in when I got home from gym this morning, forgot all about it and suddenly at dinner time it was all done and the meat fell apart on the fork. :)

Another way to get raw veg is to use cabbage or lettuce leaves with grated carrots and cucumber and strips of salad onions and wrap some lean pork or turkey mince that's been fried with a little spray-on oil, soy sauce, and a bit of chinese 5 spice in them. You can do something similar with beef mince and make lettuce "tacos". Then Hal can add all the chilli he likes afterwards. :)
